SCHEDULING YOUR PICKUP
Following the auction, buyers may receive a text message and/or email through ShippingSaint requesting that they select PICKUP or SHIPPING.
If you choose pickup, you must select an available pickup appointment through ShippingSaint when requested.
Simply selecting “Pickup” without scheduling an appointment does not reserve a pickup time.
Pickup dates and times are published for each auction. Unless alternative arrangements have been expressly approved by Oliver's Auction, purchases must be removed during the published pickup period.
If you cannot make your scheduled pickup period, please contact Oliver's Auction before the pickup period ends to request alternative arrangements. Alternative arrangements are not guaranteed and must be expressly approved.
 

SOMEONE ELSE PICKING UP FOR YOU?
Another person may pick up your purchases on your behalf.
Please contact Oliver's Auction before that person arrives and provide the name of the person authorized to retrieve your property.
Identification or additional verification may be required before property is released.
 

LOADING & REMOVAL
Buyers are responsible for bringing sufficient personnel, vehicles, tools, boxes, blankets, packing materials, dollies, and other equipment necessary to safely remove their purchases.
Oliver's Auction staff may assist with loading as a courtesy when reasonably possible; however, loading assistance is not guaranteed.
Once property has been released from Oliver's Auction's possession, the buyer assumes responsibility for handling, loading, securing, transportation, loss, theft, and damage.
 

MISSED PICKUPS
If a buyer selects pickup but fails to retrieve eligible paid property during the scheduled pickup period without making alternative arrangements, eligible property may be transferred to Oliver's Auction's shipping department.
The buyer will then be responsible for applicable packing materials, labor, handling, insurance, and shipping charges.
If an item has already entered the packing or shipping process and the buyer later requests pickup, charges already incurred for packing, unpacking, materials, or labor may remain due.
If you know you cannot make your scheduled pickup, contact us before the pickup period ends rather than simply missing your appointment.

FURNITURE & LARGE-ITEM STORAGE
Unless prior arrangements have been expressly approved, large, furniture-sized, oversized, or other property that cannot reasonably be transferred to our normal shipping department and remains after 5:00 PM on the Friday of the applicable pickup week is subject to:
$25 PER ITEM, PER CALENDAR DAY
All applicable storage charges must be paid before property will be released.
Please contact Oliver's Auction before the storage period begins if circumstances prevent you from retrieving your property.
 

UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
Unless prior arrangements have been expressly approved, purchased property remaining unclaimed and not removed within 10 BUSINESS DAYS following the scheduled pickup period may be considered abandoned and forfeited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Upon lawful forfeiture, Oliver's Auction may resell, consign, donate, dispose of, or otherwise handle the property.
Except where required by law, amounts previously paid will not be refunded when forfeiture results from the buyer's failure to retrieve the property.
Communication matters. If an unexpected circumstance prevents you from retrieving your purchases, contact Oliver's Auction before the applicable deadline to discuss possible arrangements.
